In 7 years of exploring and kayaking Halkidiki, Greece we have never once canceled a trip. We have taken this difficult step to protect our valued guests, as well as our suppliers, tour guides and office staff. What's happening on the ground in Greece? On Saturday 15th 2020, the Greek government took the precautionary step of temporarily closing all seasonal accommodation tourist units in Greece until April 30, in an effort to stop the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).  To see the ministerial decision (in Greek), press here. As a result, we feel strongly that, aside from the clear issue of health and safety, the quality of experience for our sea kayak guests will be greatly diminished. Will other 2020 Sea Kayak Halkidiki Tours and Trips run? Yes. We are hopeful that the outbreak will remain isolated. Rest assured that we are planning to run all of our scheduled sea kayaking trips and other outdoor activities as planned, from May 1, 2020, onwards.
