Vourvourou sits on a stretch of coast dotted with small islands, the largest being Diaporos, and the water here is sheltered and shallow enough to stay calm even when the wind picks up elsewhere on Sithonia. It’s what makes the bay such a good base for kayaking and paddleboarding, for beginners and experienced paddlers alike. Our Commitment to the Environment
We operate in a protected, unspoilt part of the Halkidiki coast, and we take that seriously. We ask everyone who rents from us to respect the water, the shoreline, and the small marine life that shares the bay with us — no littering, no disturbing the seagrass beds, and no feeding the fish. Kayaking and paddleboarding are about as low-impact as sea sports get, and we’d like to keep it that way. It costs nothing to paddle a little further from the shore, keep noise down near the small islands, and pack out anything you bring in — small habits that keep Vourvourou worth visiting for the next person too.
